Light and Dark (Christmas III)

John 1 is one of the most quoted passages about the birth of Christ, but it’s not full of imagery other than light and dark. Toward the end of the passage, we’re told Jesus was born so we could become children of God by accepting the light.

For today’s project, you need a piece of black construction paper, a piece of white paper and black and white colored pencils. On the black paper, write all you bad habits or things that keep you from fully accepting Jesus using the black pencil. Then cut out a burst of light shape from the white paper and paste it on the block. Let it dry and then using the white pencil, write all your good habits and ways you draw closer to God. Include things you want to do better.
