Appearance (Easter 3B)

“Have you anything here to eat?” Jesus asks the disciples in Luke 24. It is still Easter day in Luke and Jesus has only appeared to Cleopas and his companions who went to Emmaus. The disciples have heard the women, the angels, Peter and Cleopas and his companions report, but suddenly Jesus is among them and they think him a ghost.

“Look at me,” he tells them, showing his wounds to prove he is real and then he asks for food and eats with them to prove without a doubt he is real.

Imagine yourself in the room with the disciples, what would Jesus have to do to prove he had been resurrected? Draw the scene and imagine the conversation Jesus might have with you as he answered your questions aout things you did not understand.
